We are the evolution of "discos" where we provide more than just great music, sound and lighting.
Cloud 9 Roadshow is me "Lee Hookway" where I have been DJ'ing with my disco for 27 years now. I am very experienced in providing exciting & entertaining events/parties where I believe successful events/parties are about more than just playing great music & actually also about providing a show. I already have a full-time job/career & I can sincerely say that I DJ with my disco because I absolutely love to & the response/feedback I receive during/after makes it all worthwhile.
Unlike most discos these days, I still use vinyl (records) & also CD's, digital which gives me a big advantage of a massive music library in a very small space. I have never advertised & base all my business on recommendation, which has kept me year on year very busy with re-occurring bookings. My passion is music & I pride myself on the quality of music, sound & lighting I provide.
A little bit more about me/Cloud 9 Roadshow is….. I believe I am quite a bit different from the average type of DJ/Disco you may expect to see these days where I include so much more: -
A choice of disco styles from traditional vibrant & bold 1400 fairy light lighting screens to a more subtle & discrete white or black LED booth?
I setup a selection of up-lighters / venue paint / ambient mood lighting behind the disco set to your colour of choice designed to transform/enhance your venue which can help create that more special ambiance.
I also setup amazing specialist lasers that create 1000’s of green/red glitter ball style dots to transform your dance floor/venue walls, etc.
All my lights are computer controlled where they are setup to shine on/around the dance floor & not directly in people’s eyes.
I include a choice of sound systems to suit your event/venue/room where I am mindful of sound levels where my sound equipment is designed for quality & certainly not to blow peoples ears off.
Something extra special I spend quite a few hours on after a disco is to create a high definition DVD movie of the party, edited uniquely for you, capturing something special and memorable. A few weeks after I send you a DVD movie.
I believe people book me because they really don’t want to take any chances & they want a DJ/Disco with backup equipment, public liability insurance, ProDub performing rights music license, the absolute best equipment available & somebody who sincerely loves what they do & can adapt/play some great music suitable for everybody.
For me, it is truly all about the music, the people & creating some fantastic parties is what I love to do.
I am totally guided by you & your guests with music & I simply adapt based on the requests/feedback I receive during the event/party. People are very welcome to make a playlist & I will of course play them all
